Australian writers aged 21 and under are invited to enter the first Young Calibre Prize, proudly presented by Australian Book Review and Copyright Agency Limited. This is a special opportunity for Australia’s next generation of writers to challenge themselves with a piece of imaginative non-fiction.

Postie past, present and future

To celebrate 200 years of Australia Post the Our past, our present, our future Schools Competition is open to all secondary students under 15 years of age. You can choose to write a short story or poem, create a rap or painting. Think creatively about what it might be like to be a postie – in the past, the present or the future.

There are great prizes for students, teachers and schools including iPod Nanos.
