Wendy Orr – Nim’s Island

Canadian-born Wendy Orr has lived in Australia since the 1970s and now resides on the Mornington Peninsula, where she and her husband, Tom, are working to restore their few acres of native bush for local wildlife. She is an award-winning author of books for children and young adults, and is thrilled that the film of her novel ‘Nim’s Island’, has recently been made into a film starring Jodie Foster and Abigail Breslin.
